URBAN RIDER WINCHES!!!!! Ready To Ship! SO Stoked!!!

The Urban Rider allows you to school the rails, take on the land gaps and make the most of every puddle in your neighbourhood without the need of a boat or large crew of riders. Forget about that drive to the lake to get a ride. Find a drain, water fountain, a puddle or dig a hole, it’s all possible with the Urban Rider.

Powered by a 9-hp engine, the Urban Rider will pull an 80-kg rider up to riding speed in less than 20 meters. It’s as easy as setting up, slide and ride away from what ever obstacle you choose.

Inflating fuel prices? Who cares...because even at current prices you can have a full day riding with all your mates for under $5.

Fitted with the latest Urban Rider technology, you can now operate the winch just using one hand with the new pistol grip controller. An easy thumb accelerator and Hydraulic disc brake mechanism allows for smooth acceleration and braking control.

Byerly Toe Jam Stop #3- Rockstar Wake Jam

(Excerpt from Byerly Toe Jam press release on wakeworld.com)

Orlando, Fla. - A top-notch venue was unveiled today, as the world's best wakeskaters competed for the first time at Nautique Headquarters in Orlando, Florida for the Rockstar Wake Jam.

Of course, the towboat of choice was the Byerly Icon Edition 210 Nautique, which shaped the perfect wake and delivered solid pulls all day with the help of Zero-Off GPS speed control. The highest level of today's wake riding was on display, with the judges looking for big wake moves over flats and lip tricks.

Notable hammers were Reed Hansen's 360 shove, Ross Gardner's toeside late front big, Brian Grubb's wrapped toeside nose grab backside 180, Dieter Humpsch's indy poked backside 180's and Brandon Thomas' big spin mute.

The final showdown came down to a head-to-head battle between Brian Grubb and Reed Hansen, arguably the two best wake riders in the sport. Hansen landed three different 360's plus a late shove and then came super close on a 540 attempt.

Grubb pulled through in the clutch with a nose grab 360, late shove (toeside and heelside) and his signature wrapped toeside nose grab backside 180, combined with other stylish airs to beat Hansen by a very narrow margin.

Well, we are so happy to hear that one of our favorite riders Emily Durham and her husband Kevin- both of which have been a great help to us with boat shows and other events- are expecting their first child! Congrats, guys!!! There is a really great interview with Mrs. Durham herself on wakeworld.com. Check it out to read all about her career, her experiences, future plans, and of course she spills the beans about the baby!
